Milton American Youth Soccer Organization Region 633

Guardians:

You are responsible for your players conduct. For this reason, you, or a designated adult, must remain present for your child during all AYSO events. If you choose to not remain, you MUST notify the assigned volunteer prior to leaving the event. It will be at the discretion of the volunteer, in part based on prior interaction with the child, as to whether they will agree to this.

You must also inform your child's coaches of any medical issue the child has that is relevant to sports participation. Medical devices such as a asthma inhaler need to be present during all activities and coaches aware of how treatment needs to be administered.

Players:
Players are expected to refrain from abusive language, name calling, bullying, or any action found to be against AYSO philosophy number 5, good sportsmanship. Any unauthorized contact with another person (child or adult) such as hitting, punching etc is not allowed.

Also players and not permitted to use AYSO equipment/ property in an unauthorized manner. This could include but is not limited to: sitting on soccer balls, hanging or climbing on goals, standing or climbing on benches etc.

Any violation of the aforementioned player conduct policy may constitute grounds for removal of that player from both practice or a game. Also further action may be taken by the Milton AYSO board to suspend a child or remove their registration as it is deemed necessary.

Spectators: Only authorized volunteers and duly registered AYSO players are allowed to be on the field or on the players sideline (bench side) during AYSO events. Spectators MUST also be seated at minimum of one yard from the touchline and at least five yards from the goaline.

Spectators MUST refrain from negative comments towards ANY player, volunteer, referee, or spectator. It is at the discretion of any volunteer to ask for the removal of a spectator that is found to be creating a negative or unsafe environment at any AYSO event. The old expression "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" sums this up best.

Parking at the Milton AYSO fields which are located inside of the Milton State Park:  Parking on the grass is not allowed. DCNR will issue a $5 ticket for first time offenders. This amount goes up for repeat offenders.

DCNR also has the ability to issue tickets under the motor vehicle code for parking offences which could cost hundreds, and in some cases, thousands of dollars in fines.

DCNR staff and some representatives of the Milton AYSO are authorized to operate their vehicles on the grass. If you are not given permission from the DCNR to drive or park on the grass, don't do it!

Mobility equipment such as power chairs or scooters etc may be used on the grass provided that they are electric powered devices.

If you have ANY questions about these policies please reply to this email ASAP. Coaches will be verifying that you have read and understand this information.
